Character: Malon
Fandom: The Legend of Zelda

History:
Malon Wiki link and The Legend of Zelda History

Personality:
Malon can best be described as a farm girl with spunk backing her up. Whenever seen, she's usually rather cheerful, always trying her best to make sure things aren't out of place (or making sure her father isn't out doing something odd). What's also notable about Malon is that whenever the chance presents itself, she will sing, no matter who the audience is. It's indicative that she's also not afraid of what others were to think of her, seeing as how something to please herself, rather then anyone who were to come near her. It's not to say she's not completely unaware of how others feel, though; as said before, whenever the chance presents itself, she'll be willing to lend a helpful hand to others who are kind enough to her.

However, if she's rubbed the wrong way, she does have the chance of becoming a little bit snappy and witty. If presented with a person she doesn't like, she won't hesitate to become rather dismissive of them, rather than showing them her usual kindness. And if talking to said person, she'll do everything in her power to actually make sure that person gets rather annoyed with her, as it'll actually fuel her to cause further annoyance with said person. But after a while, she'll actually realize the error of her ways and find a way to make up with the person. Unless they still seem to treat her wrongly, then she would not bat an eye at them once more.

She's also actually capable of seeing the good in other people. When she was held hostage by her father's farmhand, Ingo, she knew that Ingo was actually under the influence of some dark powers that caused him to act as such, thus allowing her to quickly forgive him after everything had been taken care of at the ranch. It's also why she was able to quickly see why Link was a good person as well, seeing how she was able to quickly open up to the boy (and because he stops by the farm and actually helps her out with her tasks). So Malon will treat said good willed person with whatever kindness she has to offer, usually asking them to stay at her farm for a while to relax and drink some milk.

But when a situation does present itself (and assuming Malon isn't completely helpless herself), Malon will definitely be able to take action for her and whoever it is that may find trouble, as evidenced (in the manga for Ocarina of Time, at least), when Link was trying to take back the farm, Malon went out of her way to actually help and fend off the Gerudo invaders along with Link. So she's willing to go out and help her friends whenever the danger presents itself (considering it's not too bad) and try her best to help out any afflicted party that she considers good.

Along with being a farm girl, Malon's sense of the outside world isn't very wide or common, seeing as how she's spent most of her life on a farm, delivering milk to and from Hyrule Castle. So when it comes to it, she's actually pretty sheltered and actually curious about her surroundings and the world around her. She'll try everything she can to learn about new things, and try to adapt to them as best as she could.

And because she's a farm girl, she also has a fleeting desire of actually leaving the farm with someone who would come along and save her, a sort of "Prince Charming" that would take her away and let her live the spoiled life. Because of this, whenever greeted with a person that sort of fits that description, Malon becomes a little more sappy then she usually would, becoming rather affectionate toward the said person and actually wanting to cling unto them, making sure nothing happens to them.

In all, Malon seems to carry an aura of happiness around her, and she's pretty friendly. When it comes down to it, she does carry a sense of justice around her, and do whatever seems right in her heart. She's not easily persuaded to do things, so she's a little hardheaded when it comes to things she doesn't usually want to hear, but will eventually let up when she's pressed hard enough to let the thoughts flow into her. And it should be noted that whenever she's agitated, she'd do anything to try and outwit said person that tries to mess with her, or try to make it so they won't be able to do much else other then talking back to her.

Other: It should be noted that I'm taking her from when she's an adult, rather then a kid.

---

[And here comes one farm girl, popping up on the feed as she has a rather puzzled look on her face.]

I could never get used to this whole "other people being from different universes" sort of deal. It makes it a whole lot confusing knowing you people are actually from a different place, and I'm in my little farm. But it makes for some more interesting conversations! At least I think they're interesting, it's not everyday you hear of different area like...oh, what was it you guys called it, a "beach", where it's nothing but water? I didn't think such a thing actually existed!

[It's obvious she's excited just speaking about such things. But, she's clapping her hands together, now pointing at the book she uses to speak to the community.]

How about this, if you guys let me into your world one day, I'll let you back to the farm to play with the Cuccoos and cows! It'll definitely make for an exciting time, and I could definitely teach you guys how to horseback ride, as well. [She seems to be quite proud of it, as well, as indication by her actually sticking her nose up in the air.] So, how about it, sound like a fair deal to you guys?

Haha, well, if we actually find a way to do that, at least. I'm usually too busy helping my dad out to see if there's an okay time for you guys to actually come over here and visit. Usually Link comes by, but then again he usually helps me out and take Epona out for a little race every now and then. Which I think it's pretty nice how he learned how to ride Epona after such a short time of being with her. The boy's a genius!

...oh, whoops, did I talk too much? I'm sorry, I guess I'll be letting you guys for now. Byyye~!

[But right before the feed cuts off, Malon is shown running away from the book, and placing her hands across her chest, as she begins to sing a melody that sound pleasant to the ears.]

Third Person:

Malon's sitting in the middle of Lon Lon Ranch, usually where they keep the horses, and she seems to be gazing into the night sky, a small smile on her face. It's not everyday that she gets to see the stars shine so brilliantly, let alone enjoy a little time to herself because of how much she works during the day. Night time is usually her time to relax and unwind as she lays back on the patch of grass, a small smile forming on her face as she begins to muse out loud to herself a little bit.

"I never realized how cold some nights could be after you've worked up a storm...but then again, most nights are like that...this one in particular seems to be a bit different, though."

She happily giggled to herself, looking up at the moon right now. It was full, not unlike other nights where it seemed to wane a bit- no, she can actually say she appreciates the moon as it is. It makes her think of how free some things are in the universe, how they're able to actually live their life how they want it without being able to be reserved to a little space...yes, that's the sort of life she wants to live.

It caused a sigh to escape her lips. The life she wants to live...she's always contemplated about a prince coming to steal her away from the farm so she doesn't actually have to live this sort of boring, traditional life style...she kicks her feet a little on the ground as a small groan escapes her lips. "It's too bad I only had one prince come into my life...why can't there actually be more like him so I can actually run away on his valiant steed out of this place? Oooh...man, it's just making me a little more angry now that I think about it!"

At the same time, she seems to have stopped her little fussing, thinking about how life would actually be like without the farm...well, it wouldn't be the same, actually. She knows she would be confined to this sort of life regardless of a prince coming to save her. Yet, she doesn't seem to have any problems with that sort of thinking...maybe if said prince were to come and stay with her, she'd actually be happy with that sort of idea as well.

Her thoughts were broken by the sudden calling of a familiar voice- her dad, no doubt, calling her back in for food. "C-Coming!" She shouted across the field, quickly jumping to her feet and running back to the house, her hands in the air as she feels the wind around her before she goes back to living her life.
